Tama Starphonic Snare In Aluminium
A crisp, open sound with bright, complex overtones is created from the 1.2mm thick, seamless aluminium shell on this snare. The sound quality of this drum is sure to change the way you think about aluminium drums! Each snare in the Starphonic series features a newly designed, super sensitive hi-carbon snappy snare, which has been altered so that it fits closer to the head and, therefore, carries a higher sensitivity and crisper sound. To make the art of drumming easier, this drum features TAMA's Freedom Lug and Claw Hook, meaning there is no need to take all of the tension rods out of the lugs to replace the drum head. Combining vintage design and modern technology, TAMA have created their new "Grooved Hoop" on this snare, in order to create a new snare drum sound through the effect of the hoop.
