This Black Bubinga Shell Snare was developed by drummer Mike Portnoy. The Bubinga shell is very popular amongst drummers due to it's lower sound and well-defined attack. Bubinga drums are very flexible, therefore are perfectly suited to any style of drumming. This signature snare features a unique three way strainer, which offers different sounds without having to switch to another snare drum.
