The incredible SQ1 series drums are german crafted and offer the perfect combination of a fierce tone and stunning good looks which are inspired by timeless classic cars. The shells are built from 100% European birch which provides a great tonal balance, mixed with a crisp modern punch. They also feature OSM shell sizing which means that the shells are slightly undersized, this allows the head to float freely on the bearing edges. This produces an upgraded tuning range and resonance.
The SQ1 also features a variety of features which bolsters the power and reliability of the drum, such as the TuneSafe lugs which ensure the tension screws don't vibrate loose. Also,the unique Sonor Sound Sustainer dual-component tom mounts which isolates vibrating components.
