George Way "The Aero" Snare Drum
Make way for another fantastic snare drum! Yes you guessed it, another George Way snare drum has found it's way to our beloved Drum Shop and we couldn't be more excited! We love new gear at Drum Shop and we love it even more when it's a creme de la creme snare from the artisan drum makers that are George Way.
A decent sized snare the George Way Aero Model is sized at 14" x 6.5" and has an ultra thin seamless spun aluminium shell. A major benefit to using aluminium as a drum base is the fact that it can be super sensitive whilst also reaching a range of colourful highs and lows in between! Crisply defined in both sound and appearance you won't fail to notice this snare from near or far, it truly is classically George Way! Desirable features include, streamline casings, 845 snare throw off and triple flange hoops. Triple flange hoops take care of the finer details of your sound, they give you the ability to produce less trips which refines your sound. Streamline casings flawlessly blend into the aluminium shell and the 845 snare throw off is ideal because it uses no screws to tighten, meaning less vibration as snare string wire is used instead. Not only that that snare wires can be changed instantly saving you time, hassle and effort, you can quickly change your sound to match your mood or vibe in seconds!
A stunning matte anodized natural aluminium finish is complimented by AAA Chrome plating a feature that is standard on all metal parts used within any George Way drums, not forgetting the iconic Geo Way badge.
