Bass Plate is an innovative product that attaches to the bottom of the bass drum and has been designed to enhance your overall sound by allowing lateral adjustability for your bass drum pedal.
But what will lateral adjustability help you achieve? Well different striking points create different sounds, depending on where you strike the drum. Altering the different striking points can be achieved by altering the height of the bass drum beater, but this cannot be done without compromising the comfort, feel and purpose of the bass drum pedal and in so the Bass Plate Bass Drum Docking Plate was born! It gives you the opportunity to truly customise your sound and when in use the plate will raise your drum by 1" allowing you more and more options with where and how you position your bass drum pedal and beater.
