This Burcara Doum Doum drum also known as Djun Djun Drums provide the bass for the band, it gets its lovely tone from the African cedar wood its carved from, it has a cow skin head which also adds to the overall sound of the drum, they are easily tuned by the ropes placed tightly around the sides. Players are often known to strap three different sizes of this drum to themselves to create the perfect bass line. The Doum Doum is easily carried around because of its lightweight shell.
