This cajon features a front plate made of poplar and a body constructed from New Zealand pine, designed with barrel construction and decorative plastic hoops for added visual appeal. Its unique bulbous shape enhances the clarity of slap and bass sounds, providing a distinct tonal separation. Utilizing a wire system with 2 sets of 16 wires, this cajon delivers a crisp response. While it does not offer adjustability, its larger tumba version provides deeper tones and resonance. With dimensions of 20" in height, 13" in width, and 13.5" in depth, this cajon is an excellent choice for percussionists seeking both quality sound and aesthetic charm.
