The Black Panther ‘Nucleus’ snare features an 8-ply 8.1mm hybrid Maple/Walnut/Maple shell. With classic maple plies on the outer parts of the shell, the kit provides plenty of control and that classic maple sound, while the walnut in the middle produces that big and warm sound! The snare also features rolled SONIClear 45 degree bearing edges, that provide a great amount of attack and sustain that can be controlled to your taste. The Nucleus represents the center, when you need to drive the groove right down the middle.
