Description
Promark Hickory SD1 Wood Tip Drumsticks
Percussion instructor and shop owner Herb Brochestein founded Promark back in 1957, in Houston, Texas where it's still based today! Since it's first years, Promark has became a widely known stick company, being the first company to introduce Japanese Shira-Kashi white oak into the American market, successfully becoming the only company to market oak sticks in the United States, and, in 2011, they became part of D'Addario. More recently, they have chosen to use non-endangered wood and a "green" finishing process, this makes their sticks and manufacturing process safer to each of their players and to the environment!
The iconicPromark Hickory SD1 Wood Tip Drumsticks have been the classic choice for drummers across generations! The comfortable 2B diameter ensures easy handling, giving you one less thing to worry about while playing. Made from high quality hickory wood, the future pro drumsticks offer resilience, responsiveness and durability, making them the most popular choice of wood for that classic feel. The short, quick taper provides a more forward balance with less rebound and the small, round tip produces a more articulate tone suited for almost any style of drumming. These sticks are perfect for orchestral or concert playing.
